Through careful implementation of Montessori philosophy and materials, we encourage the process of discovery and love of learning inherent in every child. Through deliberate modeling of respect, kindness, and responsibility, we guide children toward confidence in their ability to create and serve their local and global Community.

WMP provides an education for 2 years 9 month olds through 5 year olds. Montessori is a multi age curriculum.

No, each child is supported in their toileting needs wherever they are in this process.

WMP does not have a waitlist, WMP generates a list of interested families and opens up registration in April. If you have called and asked about WMP you will get an email once registration opens in April. Below is WMP’s priority policy.

Students returning from the previous year are the Wellfleet Montessori Preschool’s first priority. Siblings of former students will be given the next set of available spaces. If there are more applicants than available spaces in each of these categories, lotteries will be held.

The Town Preschool Voucher is an allotted amount of money awarded to your child to use toward an accredited pre-school. Each Town requires residents to qualify and apply to receive a voucher by providing documentation (examples: Child’s Birth Certificate, Utility Bill)
